President

The President shall:

. . serve as the Vice President of the Division of Health Occupations Education,

            NYSACTE

. . preside at all general and Executive Board meetings

. . in the absence of the Treasurer, have the authority to make payments

. . serve as a voting delegate to the NYSACTE Assembly of Delegates

. . appoint delegates and alternates to NYSACTE Assembly of Delegates, with the

            approval of the Executive Board

. . appoint the chairperson and members of all standing committees

. . appoint the chairperson and members of all special committees

. . represent the Association if no special representative has been appointed




Vice President

The Vice-President shall:

            . . assume the duties of the president in his/her absence or non-performance of duty

            . . coordinate committee activities

            . . serve as Parliamentarian at general membership and Executive Board meetings




Corresponding Secretary

The Corresponding Secretary shall:

            . . forward meeting notices with agenda to each member prior to any general

                        membership meeting

            . . notify officers, committees, and delegates of their election or appointment, if

                        they were absent from the meeting

            . . work with the Treasurer to notify members whose dues are in arrears

            . . conduct the general correspondence of the organization as directed by the President

            . . forward copies of all correspondence to the President




Member at Large

Members-at-Large shall:

            . . advise the president on executive matters

            . . assume responsibilities designated by the President; such as preparation of

                        annual calendar of events, coordination of regional unit activities, and other

                        matters as needed

. .   serve as Regional Unit Coordinator
